  1. Follow these steps to pair the iPad Air with a Beats Pill 2. First you need to turn on the Beats Pill 2.0 by holding the power button, then press the 'b' button for three seconds until the light flashes. This indicates that the Beats Pill 2.0 is in pairing mode.
  2. From the home screen on the phone open Settings control panel, then go to the Bluetooth menu and turn the Bluetooth option on.
  3. Underneath select Beats Pill 2 from the list of nearby devices to pair with the iPad, shortly afterwards it will then say "Paired" next to the name of the device.
  4. You can now play music on a Beats Pill 2 wirelessly from the iPad Air. Tapping on the AirPlay icon in any iOS application that plays audio will bring up a list of devices where you will be able to toggle between the headphones, loudspeaker and a Beats Pill 2.   1. These instructions show you how to hook up the iPad Air to a Beats Pill 2 using a cable to play music. Firstly locate the headphone socket on the top right of the tablet.
  2. Ensure the Bluetooth speaker is turned off then locate the IN port found at the rear of the speaker between the OUT port and the power button.
